Brooke Passolt, MD
Residency Program Director
Assistant Professor – Medical College of Wisconsin
Background: Dr. Brooke Passolt is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been a faculty with the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2016. She is originally from rural Iowa. She completed her medical degree with the Medical College of Wisconsin and later completed residency at Swedish Family Medicine in Colorado. She joined the residency as program director in 2025 after sun-setting a long-standing and well-respected MCW program, where she was the program director for two years. She is passionate about resident education and strives to support the residents to reach their individual goals. She enjoys being a full-spectrum family medicine physician and has a special interest in educating patients and clinicians about breastfeeding medicine.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. They love to travel (especially to national parks) together. She also enjoys baking, playing board games, and reading fiction in her free time..

Joel Greenya, DO
Assistant Professor – Medical College of Wisconsin
Background: Joel Greenya, DO is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He is originally from the Madison, WI area. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University – CCOM and later completed residency at Mayo Clinic Health System – La Crosse, WI during which he completed the OB track and served as chief resident. After completing residency, he worked in rural Wisconsin doing Family Medicine with OB, SNF/Hospice care and Addiction Medicine, as well as serving on his local health department and hospital board. He then worked in Milwaukee County in outpatient Addiction Medicine before returning to Family Medicine with the Froedtert & MCW Menomonee Falls Family Medicine Residency as faculty. He is passionate about treatment of substance use disorders in the primary care setting, evidence-based medicine, tailoring care to the individual patient, and of course resident education.

Tara Kennedy, MD
Medical Director
Assistant Professor – Medical College of Wisconsin
Background: Tara Kennedy, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified family physician. While studying Spanish and Biology at Boston University, she worked as an EMT, EMS instructor, and CPR instructor, gaining early clinical experience and developing a passion for teaching. She returned to her Midwest roots and earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine (Chicago) and then completed her residency at Penn State College of Medicine – Hershey. After finishing residency, she worked full-time in practice at Froedtert Community Physicians’ Tosa Health Center and with MCW medical students. In 2021, she moved to the Froedtert & MCW Family Medicine Menomonee Falls Residency full-time and became the Medical Director in 2022. She sees a broad range of patients and has a special interest in teaching residents about quality improvement (QI) and clinical quality data.
When not at work, she enjoys baking and would like to learn to decorate cakes in her free time.

David Marshall, MD, MPH

Background: David Marshall, MD, MPH is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. He is originally from just north of Madison, Wisconsin. He completed his medical degree with the University of Wisconsin while participating in the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) Program. At the same time, he completed a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota with a minor in global public health. During residency, he completed the sports medicine track and served as chief resident. It was also during that time that he was awarded the Excellence in Public Health Award from the U.S. Public Health Service as well as the Compassion in Action International Health Award from the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Medicine. He is passionate about inpatient and outpatient family medicine, responsible community engagement, public health, sports medicine, reproductive health, and obstetrics..

Julie Rickert, PsyD

Background: Julie Rickert, PsyD joined the faculty of F&MCW Menomonee Falls with 14 years of experience in Family Medicine Education at the University of North Dakota. Trained as a generalist, she has developed interests in chronic pain, primary care management of psychiatric disorders particularly during the peripartum period, brief primary care change interventions, and physician well-being. She has three daughters, is passionate about music and loves to garden.

Megan Seidl, D.O.

Background: Megan Seidl, D.O. is a board-certified family medicine physician. Born and raised in Wisconsin, she got her undergraduate degree in Zoology with a certificate in Gender & Women’s Studies at University of Wisconsin-Madison where she also competed as a high jumper on the UW Badgers track & field team. She then got her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL and completed residency training at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria Family and Community Medicine Residency in Peoria, IL during which she completed a global health track. After graduating residency, she moved to Manhattan, KS and served as medical director of Konza Prairie Community Health Center where she practiced outpatient primary care for patients with and without insurance, coordinated Covid-19 response with other area organizations, built a program to provide medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders, provided care to refugee families settling in the area, provided clinical leadership to maintain a Title X Family Planning grant, provided care for adolescents in the foster system at a local secure center, and worked with local organizations to promote community health. Dr. Seidl now practices full spectrum family medicine with a broad range of interests.
